1960 Bill Dellinger wins the mile over Lazzlo Tabori 4:07.7 vs. 4:07.8.
1960 Jim Beatty beats Max Truex in the 5,000 meters in 14:13.9.
1963 C.K. Yang became the first athlete to go over 9,000 points in the decathlon beating Rafer Johnson’s world record by nearly 500 points.
1963 Arizona State mile relay team broke the world record in 3:04.5 with Mike Barrich 48.0, Henry Carr 45.1, Ron Freeman 45.6, and Ulis Williams 45.8.
1963 Ron Larrieu ran one of the fastest 6 miles ever recorded by an American with a 28:40 for 6 miles and 29:39.2 for 10K.
1963 Rex Crawley ran the fastest 440 yard Intermediate Hurdles of season beating Ron Whitney 50.9 to 51.1.
1964 Al Oerter sets a world record in the discus throw of 206’ 6.”
1964 Jim Grelle and Archie San Romani battle in the mile with San Romani winning in 4:01:01.
1964 The Southern California Striders with Mike Larrabee 47.6, Don Webster 47.2, Adolph Plummer 46.0, and Earl Young 46.8 to record the fastest mile relay time of the year.
1965 Ed Burke beats the unretired Hal Connolly with a toss of 221’ 2” in the Hammer throw.
1966 Tom Farrell wins the 880 in 1:47.9 to equal the best in the world to date.
1966 John Pennel and Sam Kirk clear 17’ 0” with Pennel winning the Pole Vault on fewer misses.
1968 Martin McGrady beats Wade Bell in his best ever 880 performance of 1:49.4.
1968 George Young upped his 1968 winning streak to 13 straight with an 8:40.0 steeplechase win over Pat Traynor.
1968 Ken Moore needed a sub 60 flat last lap to beat Tom Laris in the 10K with a 29:32.4 win.
1969 John Carlos runs a 9.2 to slice two-tenth off his 100 yard best time.
1969 Lee Evans anchored San Jose State in the one mile relay recording the third fastest split ever of 44.5.
