The unarmed homeless man grabbed a police officer and tried to takeaway his gun.
I think you meant to say
"Cops protect citizens from deranged drug addict"
If deranged people don't have guns, than all they have to defend themselves is the rapier wit of their unhinged rants.

The only way to protect people in the US from guns is to give everyone a gun. I am not sure if anthropromorphic gun violence is happening but if there is even the slighteless chance it is happening we should arm everyone to the teeth. I believe in paranoid prevention across the board, regardless of topic. I definitely don't restrict my support to gun related issues.

not sure I'd classify being an unarmed homeless dude a 'job', but I hear what you're saying about cops being dangerous criminals - and all the sheep who watch NYPD Blue re-runs and drool & get all glassy eyed and who actually believe cops are here to 'protect and serve' are definitely delusional..

Once again, showing off your ignorance. The video does not even come remotely close to showing this.

Convicted felon and he pistol-whipped a woman...Next?....
Former LAPD sergeant Stacey Koon summarized these types of media-hyped events quite succinctly after the Rodney King incident:
“Look, folks, policing is done this way. You may like to live in Santa Monica and have your little wine party in the backyard and drive your Jaguar and do your little barbecue…. Know that the reason you are allowed to do that in the safety of your community is because police Officers go out and they clean up the streets and deal with all the scum that you don’t want to know about….”

According to you someone would need to be a split second from pulling the trigger with a gun to the cops head. I saw the video multiple times and there is MORE than enough to justify the cop ending this scumbag. Boo hoo we have one less law breaking hobo in the world. Somehow I think we'll all survive.
You know how I avoid situations like this? I follow the law.

What else would 3 police officers simultaneously shout "drop the gun" and 3 seconds later simultaneously fire their weapons at the suspect??? Do you think the officers got together earlier in the day and said "at 12:54pm lets all say this, and then shoot a guy at the same time"...? It is very clear from the unscripted simultaneous reactions of three separate officers that the suspect had a gun in his possession, even if that gun was taken from one of the other officers holsters in the scrum. I personally see no issue here.
If those were ex-Marines he would have been tortured, beaten, bones broken, ears bit off, and choked to death.
It has been confirmed that the homeless man had a stolen ID. The man was also a convicted bank robber.
