Healthy right now
40 pw- avg pace about 7:30- I do hill workouts, track work, etc. Long run- 10 miles, 6 days a week of running.
Highest week this year- 52
Push ups- 54
Gross Income- 66,000
Drugs- allergy OTC pill, inhaler for asthma
Best Advice- EAT KALE- every day, cut out gluten- whether you're allergic or not- 2 weeks for me and I feel great.
Drink- beer, whiskey, wine- 4-6 times a week, I never get drunk.
Love of sport- 10!- I run, race, coach (and LOVE it), go to events, watch on TV, internet, I'm heavily involved with my local running store promoting events, leading group runs, beginner runs, etc ...
Happy or sad- happy 9.5- I'm almost always in a good mood and love to "fight" for a cause and argue politics, etc. I'm politically moderate.
How old do people think I am? Most say I look 35 except for my gray hair. My students generally think I'm early 40's because they know I have a 24 year old daughter.
How old do I think I'll live to be? I never put limits on myself in anything I do and that includes living and dying.
Bruise easy? sometimes
Where to retire? the house I live in now- I moved in when I was 5, moved out at 25 and back in at 31- with my wife and kids. But, I WILL consider moving if it means being closer to my grown kids.
Daily pain?- not really- an ache in my shoulder where I broke it when I was 12.
Passion- My family, running, coaching. I have to say, I love my life. I made some decent choices.
For you young guys:
I have friends who thought they were cool playing football and basketball and now they're overweight, out of shape slobs who can barely walk and are all jealous of me.
Keep running, keep the passion, realize that some day YOU will be the cool guy at 5K's.
