Avocado's Number...are you an idiot or just ignorant?
The Bobby Crim 10 miler is NOT a fast course. It is anything but flat and is nowhere in comparison to the Cherry Blossom 10 miler as I've run them both.
Do you just like to make stuff up to pretend to be smart?
The course from 1981 may have have been 148 meters short, but Salazar did not run 148 meters short as he ran a race that was no where remotely close to "point to point." I've got it on DVD and have watched the entire race more than once. If he ran shorter than 26 miles 385 yards, it was a negligible amount...but you keep on believing what you want.
3rd Place, 4:43/mi 47:15.28, not a bad effort compared to last year
It's a very good effort on that course. Dathan is doing fine and is right on pace with where he wants to be for the fall and February trials. I live in Belmont, so yes I would know. Avocado's Number is a moron on his best day.

If anything, he is ahead of pace, especially given his injuries after Boston. I'm a bit troubled that he ran with a calf wrap, but I assume he knows what he'd doing. In any case, the ten is a great preparation for the New Haven 20k.

Interview with Ritz after the race:
Correct, he's right where he wants to be. 17 seconds behind first on that course is nothing to sneeze at.

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
