Odd response, sounds similar to a child abuse victim thanking Dad after he stops a beating.

Funny how God chooses to help people.
For instance: Why did God choose him to get the vaccine, not somebody that died?
Oh, let me guess!! That's Gods will!
Or maybe God meant to help someone with Ebola, but got distracted helping a women sprinter win a race?
The Lord giveth Ebola and the Lord taketh Ebola away.
Let me quess... it was the Devil that gave him ebola in the first place.
Just once, I want to see them interview an athlete with a disappointing performance (like an Olympic favorite having a bad day and finishing out of the medals) and the dude says "God screwed me over today, I worked my a$$ off and all blame goes to God." lol
If they give God all the credit when they win, they need to give him all the blame when they lose.

Correct, it was republicans, I mean the devil, who gave him ebola.

Not an odd response given that he was in Africa as part of Samaritan’s Purse, a evangelical Christian organization.
It does seem like a slap in the face to all the scientists and doctors that did the research and administered the medicine to save his life.
Unrelated to the topic but does anyone else see the name Kent Brantley and immediately think Keith Brantley and wonder what he's up to?
I had the same reaction when I heard the name on the radio.
Years ago, when I used to sometimes win local races and be interviewed, I seriously considered crediting my faith in the flying spaghetti monster for my victory.
That a doctor - who has been through med school and residency, and generally would describe himself as a, "scientist" - would credit a god rather than science is amazing. he is the last person in the world I would want working on me.
he profusely thanked his doctors & nurses at Emory as well, but I'm sure you know better than he who deserves thanks. After all, he's just the MD who treated & then suffered from Ebola, while you're an LRC forum poster...

He thanked God for a miracle so apparently he doesn't know. Why bother treating people with modern medicine if it is God that cures them. Let them pray for a healing and save money on medicine.
They should lock all the infected into a Faith Chamber. I have 100% confidence that through their combined prayer they could cleanse the scourge of ebola from their bodies.
Superstition and distrust fuels this epidemic. Reap what you sow.
One would think a Time Lord could have cured himself.
What episode of Doctor Who was this?

That would have made you an ass. No one cares that you're an atheist. Be an atheist, that is your choice. There is no reason to be a dick about it.
The thing so many people fail to grasp is that just because other people are stupid morons, doesn't mean you have to join them. Why would you want to be a rude dick? In the end, you weren't a rude dick. For that, you should be commended.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
