I guess it is not just Solinsky who is preparing for a life away from the track.

Has Rupp just become the fastest school principal in history?
Since he was assistant principle before this, I don't think this will be too much of a change.
Interesting, I thought he was a full time runner, good for him.
I guess he is able to do it as, the european meets are after the USATF meet in mid June until late August/early September, when school is out for summer
Although, I don't know how this works out with his Oregon training seeing as this school is in Pennsylvania...
oops, same name different person, you got me lol.
Do they test for EPO at the school?

lol It didn't say so in the article, but I figured something was wrong when it mentioned he was the assistant principle before.
I thought you had to have a bachelor's degree, a license, and a master's degree to become a principal. Galen Rupp didn't even graduate from clown college.
I've already heard rumors about a rift that's developed between him and Salazar over his close relationship with the superintendent... pretty sad if you ask me.
rupp had some excellent accomplishments at the assistant principal level. will he be able to step it up now that he's moved on to principal, or will he GO HOME DEVASTATED?
don't he need a rupp certificate?
That's what champions do.

Becoming a principal without having a college degree was the giveaway. Even becoming an assistant principal without having a college degree is not going to happen.

Even with three trolls-a-trolling I can not see this one getting to 50 never mind the automatic Q of 100
Funny that it's their 2nd most clicked story of the day. Wonder how many of those came from LRC.
$92,500/year? Probably more than that little dweeb makes now. Seems like a good career move. His EPO performances can only last so long.

What was it supposed to say in the article?
"Galen Rupp, not the Olympic runner, has been named principal."
Indeed. But how cool would it be to have your principal be an Olympic medalist!
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
