When practice is over, or meet over, can coaches in the ncaa smoke cigars? Or does the ncaa run your off worktime life?

What rules say they can't?
is there any
Why the hell wouldn't they be allowed to?
have you seen the ncaa rulebook? I mean just looked at it, on a shelf, its thicker than war n peace
I thinks the off-hours cigar rules are in the same section as the off hours prohibited clockwise running.
I ran for the University of Tulsa back in the 90's and our coach actually smoked cigarettes in the van when driving the team to meets. He would empty his ash tray in the parking lot before we left and sometimes when we got to the destination.
I guess I never imagined it was spelled out as a rule to not smoke on the job in the NCAA rule book, but figured it was in the common sense and obvious to all rule book.
If it's not, it sure the hell should be. It's a disgusting habit.
The NCAA has an in-competition and at-practice ban on all tobacco use (cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco).
Additionally, most campuses have specific, designated smoking allowable and not allowable areas.
If a coach wants to light up a stogie at home to enjoy with a glass of scotch, so be it. The NCAA can suck it.

see , this person ^^^^ is the example of the type of pointy headed goody goody that is usually being hired in the current climate of the job world and as such this attitude will be pushed onto everyone soon
If this guy/woman, whichever, has this outlook, you can bet someone in the ncaa does too. Eventually you won't be able to drink off campus, smoke, or even play poker. The country has turned into a nannytopia

First they came for the smokers, and I did not speak out - Because I was not a smoker.
Then they came for the drinkers, and I did not speak out - Because I was not a drinker.
Then they came for the cyclists, and I did not speak out - Because I was not a cyclist.
Then they came for the runners — and there was no one left to speak for me.
I'll bet anyone here 2000000 dollars within 2 yr the ncaa will ban habits outside of work. They'll put it under "THE IMPRESSION WE WANT TO ELUDE IN THE PUBLIC EYE" or some other $h1t
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
