I got there just in time to see the finish. This dude is on a totally different level than everyone else in Utah right now. The time was slower than the typical winning time on this aided course, but it was 86 degrees in Salt Lake at 3:45 AM, and they were running against a gusting headwind, so times were slow in every race. The next few finishers were a recent BYU grad that has recently run sub-13:50 on the track and a few runners from some Korean team that flew across the world for this race. I can't imagine being fit enough to have anywhere that kind of leg turnover 5 days after beating oneself up as badly as he did at Speedgoat. Really really impressive.
