Ummmm......ever heard of Mary, Alexa and Elise?
yeah i was definitely stoked to see hasay double, winnign both races. close to her 1500 PR (outdoors) and a second faster than her 5k PR, which is terrible anyway.
today was one of her best days, but too bad she didn't get that big PR she wants. she could probably run 15:10-15:15 without too much trouble on the right day, maybe threatening 15:05

None of them have ever run close to 15:28, not fresh and definitely not after a 4:11 1500 win.
Late entries are not allowed...oh, wait...there's Alberto.
This is the perfect type of low-pressure meet for Jordan.
I see her career as similar to Sara Hall.
I was at the race this evening and Hasay looked very comfortable in the 5 k. Interestingly enough, Flanagan was in attendance watching. I honestly think Jordan can give Shalane a competitive race at USA's.
I totally agree! Jordan looked great! She looked smooth and rhythmic! She will be competitive! It looks like she is going to run a hell of a 10k this summer!
You high, bro?

jordan hasay is to running what adrien broner is to boxing the talent is there,, just has not put it all together yet.
when she does, she will be very good.

Stop sniffing the glue when you work on your model airplanes, bro.

Who cares about her final laps, her doubles and her post-race workouts? She needs to start running fast times, ok?

Agreed, too many here put too much faith in evenings like these. Webb was all over "impressive" doubles, but that never materialized into a real performance.
"Practice? we're talking about practice? Not the game...Practice?"
you get credit for the time you runyou don't get credit for the time you might have if elephants were very light and very small I could carry a dozen around in my pocket.

did you make that up
Thanks for the recap Wejo!
I was pretty sure she had closed under 65. But wow, closing the 5k in 63 after running a 4:11 1500! For her, I would say that is a BIG breakthrough. Hopefully this gives her the confidence she needs to run to her fitness level in the big meets.
good one hahahaha wrote:

I like that, I'm going to start using that.
so Timmy toms do you sit around all day all worried, nervous, & fidgeting cause Hasay hasn't ran 'fast times' yet? what a life to live!

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
