PRs:
1:15 for 13.1
2:42 for 26.2
I set the 1:15 at this race last year and set the 2:42 in March, but have been lazy for most of the time since then (mostly 10-20mpw) and have put on 5 pounds. Anyway, I'm signed up for a half next weekend and just started training seriously again a week ago. Last night, I did a mile warmup, then did a 9 mile tempo. I averaged exactly 6:00 average pace for the first 5, then did 5:58, 5:56, 5:54 for 6-8, before dropping the 9th mile to 5:35. Everything felt moderately hard but pretty relaxed other than the last mile, which was relatively hard, but not all out. If I train for another week and then take a couple easy days, what would you expect me to run?
