It's official. It will last.
What do you guys think about online dating? If it isn't a terrible idea any recommendations on good free sites?
I thought Stick found himself a ladyfriend?

They can work, but it's a numbers game; and you are heavily advantaged if you are good looking/look good in photos. Many girls on dating websites tend to have kids or very busy schedules.
POF and OKC are both decent free sites, pros and cons to both.

Second the OKC and POF recommendations. In addition to what the dude above me said, I'd say that if you go into online dating (and maybe dating in general) the important thing is to enjoy the process. Don't see love or a relationship as a goal, although it may be an outcome. Enjoy meeting interesting women and learning from different perspectives. Do that enough and you will probably find someone who will stick with you. See only a relationship as the goal and you will probably find online dating very frustrating.
There are all types on dating websites including some of the stereotypes of needy/psycho, etc. but I have also met many intelligent interesting women.
What do you guys think about the PUA community?

It's idiotic, the whole idea about "spitting game" to attract women. PUA appeals to ugly guys who think there's some psychological trick to attracting women. In reality, attraction is just about looks and money.

Agree and disagree. The PUA community has some decent ideas, but also tons of nonsense and misogyny as well. It's much like LRC can be...wade through the garbage for the occasional gem.
My problem with PUA is they make it sound like it's some kind of programming language or algorithm...the overall concept is okay; but they try to break things down to crazy specifics and over-analyze everything.
In reality, attraction is just about looks and money.
Gonna disagree a good bit here. I know far too many average guys with non-existant or small incomes that do more than fine with women.
In my experience, looks help. It is absolutely an advantage if you are good looking. But maybe in a different way than what most people think. Looks can get girls attracted initially but they don't keep it, so a good looking guy essentially gets more leeway to not be totally awesome everywhere else. In other words Abercrombie Model and Average Joe go hit on a girl. Abercrombie Model can be pretty uninteresting for a while before the girl loses interest. Average Joe on the other hand better be interesting and compelling right from the start or it's over.
I have not found money to matter at all. This might change though for girls in their late 20s into mid 30s. I highly suspect it wouldn't matter after that assuming you are a 20 something guy pursuing a women late 30s or older...different dynamics and reasons at play there.
For online dating looks are really important especially for really attractive girls, because girls get bombarded by so many messages (100+ per day). It becomes the main initial filter, and if you aren't attractive you don't even get a profile view or even get your message read. Average girls you still have a chance with since they don't get bombarded quite as crazily.
Professionals of LR, I have a dilemma:
Met a girl last week. Banged her. She lives in a different city, but she said to let me know when she visited so she could see me again. Well, I signed up for a 10k in her city next month. The race is really just a disguise to see her. I texted her, thinking she would be excited, but she hasnt responded to any of my texts, and it has been 3 days now. So now im signed up for a 10k in the middle of June for no reason.. what happened??

No, it is not idiotic. PARTS of it, maybe large parts of it are idiotic.
Stick to the smart and classy. David DeAngelo.
You're choice is, you'd rather have no one teaching you how women really work -- cos there isn't much mainstream out there doing it.

Another piece of fruit for her became low hanging.

Variety of things:
1) She felt like a slut afterwords and lost interest
2) A guy entered her life
3) She is just too busy to respond
4) Went too long between communicating and she lost attraction
5) Many more possibilities
Most likely this was just a fling, and then you made it weird by A) making a BS excuse to come visit her, B) telling her so a month ahead of time C) Texting multiple times with no response (if that's what you did).
I would also say that PUA stuff is mostly BS that works because it forces you to approach women. Provided you're reasonably clean and well dressed, you will eventually get a date if you approach enough people. There's no secret code and you don't understand how women work just because you've categorized simple social interactions into video game language.
Calling BS on this.

Oh I promise you this is the case. Don't believe me? Open up an account on pof or okc and put a picture of an attractive girl. I don't care WHAT you write for the profile.
Check back in 24 hours. You'll have a TON of messages.
