so pretty much just off the coach. ran 23 mins 5k for easy run past 3 days, pb 18:50 four years ago. managed 16:10 in 2007. looking to get back to that shape.
six months should provide enough muscle memory to get back to that?

I was never really in horrible shape but if I had not run (strictly running) in six months I could run for three weeks (first week get legs used to running, second and third week do farlek three times each - 3 min. x maybe 8) and go sub-16. You really don't need that much of a base.
