Anyway, I'm sorry that many parents think it's okay to lie to their kids to begin with. Why even start with the Santa stuff? You know the child's going to find out the truth eventually--and he'll realize that you're willing to lie to him to get him to behave you want ("No gifts from Santa for naughty kids!").
In fact, he may even apply that realization when you try to tell him that there's *another* invisible guy who knows if he's been bad or good...
It is people like you that are spearheading the immorality movement in America. Christmas is a great way to control children at an age where they need it most. There is nothing wrong with that putting in the effort to make them believe it. Also, it is important for a kid to figure out Santa is not real on their own. You can't give them all the answers to life.
Only on a running website where most posters have broken families (due to them believing running is the only source of happiness in the world) or are egotistical jackoffs do you hear people say busting the Santa story is a good idea.
