I'm reporting to you live at the meet right now from inside one of the urinals.
Not sure but I think I just saw Vin L. here
Alex E. 1st -17:01 (won by 56sec).
2nd Bradley from Richland 17:57, 3rd - Fuller from Union 18:06
AE broke Neale's record by 2 seconds.
cmon post boys' results
Tanner Anderson 14:45
Joe Hardy 14:47
John Dressel 15:06
Kai Wilmot 15:08
Holy crap. Is that a legit 5k?
It is a legit 5k. The old record was 14:58 by Anthony Armstrong (2011).

Not as hot of a time trial race as 3A, but Gig just went put on a team clinic.
Just posted official results. They have Tanner at 14:32 and Joe at 14:33. Yikes
What national race are those 4 running? Probably NXN for Wilmot and Anderson because of their team right? Dressel probably wants to improve his nice showing at Footlocker as a sophomore, but what about Hardy? Before the race I thought he was an excellent contender for the title in either national meet, but Anderson ran incredibly well today.
Hardy is going Footlocker this year.
As for the 3A results, don't take the posted results as accurate... those guys are good, but not THAT good. Trust the earlier results, that had the top four at 14:45, 14:47, 15:06 and 15:08.
What a monster race by Tanner Anderson. I remember a few years ago how folks said how good that kid was going to be. He's mixed inconsistency with good races since, but this maybe finally puts him way up there.
It's almost not fair how fast you have to be to have success in this State. 29 guys under 16 in 4A. To see the efforts of Anderson, Hardy, Efraimson, and the GH boys today was truly a special experience.
The whole stretch of highway from Tri-cities to Yakima smells like poop

Makes me look forward to NXN Northwest that much more! Seeing Gig Harbor, NC, Kamiakin, Nathan Hale, Central Catholic, among others all in the same race together!
I only wish that Hardy, Dressel, and Malancon were going the NXN route. Would make make for an amazing race :)

I said earlier this season on this forum that GH was headnshoulders above anyone else in WA State. No one believed me at the time. The level of training they're doing is essentially college level stuff. Hopefully next time you guys will believe me.
watchout, how highly would you rank Anderson going into NXN? Before the race, I had him at All-American status, but would you say he's now capable of winning? This seems to be a slightly down year in terms of top-end XC talent; there are plenty of excellent runners but no Cheserek or Verzbicas to rise above the rest.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
