I'm 43, and up until last year was running in the mid-16's for 5K off of 60 miles a week (including intervals and tempos). This year, though, I've started developing hip issues that prevent me from running that hard. I have had to cut back just to be able to walk around the office.
A masters runner wrote on LRC about a year ago that he ran 7 miles a day, 5 days a week, and could still run a 16-something 5K. What would be an average daily pace for that schedule to run in the mid/high 16 minute range? I know we're all different, but I'm sure some of you train like this and I'd like your feedback.
