Unlike the other majors the Masters is always the same. It is built for a masher who can putt and plays a draw.
Woods knows every blade of grass and is at the top of his game. This is the only major I bet Woods against the field.
Bubba will be lucky to make the cut.
I don't follow golf very much, but with the way things have been going lately, I wouldn't bet against Tiger.

I would have said the same, but apparently he's having another meltdown.
I can't get behind a golfer named Keegan.
However, I can support a golfer named Bubba, who also happens to own a hovercraft golf cart. Rock on, Bubba.
Always bet on black
I'm rooting for Keegan. While in high school, he was the individual medalist and led his team to the state championship. The school? Hopkinton (MA) High School. Yes, the same school where runners gather before the start of the Boston Marathon. With the Masters and Boston this weekend, the timing is perfect.
Tiger is playing Tiger-like again...everyone else is playing for second again, although I would like to see Keegan or Bubba win it.
Phil is always a decent bet, as he usually plays his best golf here, though I don't know how well he has been playing lately. He is, however, consistently inconsistent.
I would like to see Matt Kuchar or Adam Scott win it.
Brandt Snedeker has also been playing awesome this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see him win it.

He just double-bogeyed 5 to fall out of the early lead. Tiger about to tee off.
My pick is Phil (might be wishful thinking). I'm saying I wouldn't be surprised to see Sneds win it, despite early round play. I am also saying I would prefer to see Matt Kuchar or Adam Scott win it, probably more so Kuchar. Odds are that none of them will win, but that is where I stand.

Yes, a good bet to do nothing.
If it wasn't for Sergio Garcia, he'd be the most over rated out there but the networks love he "aw, gee shucks, I'm a good guy" act.
Phil Mickelson...FIGJAM

Yup...guy is a DB.
Good read about Phil the good guy: http://www.worldgolf.com/blogs/alan.katz/2006/02/06/why_players_on_the_pga_tour_call_phil_mi
This has nothing to do with character. I'm not picking him because of his purported "fake" persona. I'm picking him because he generally plays his best golf in Augusta, already owns three green jackets (good bet to do nothing, really?), and has tied the low score for the front nine (30). His short game will serve him well. I said wishful thinking because he is also good at playing a solid round and then having the wheels fall off. As far as golfers with poor character, I don't think anyone tops Tiger. So, Snedeker and Kuchar also have an "Ah shucks" manner about them. Does that make them d-bags?
I'll take Mickelson - good history at the Masters.

Actually I never got that vibe from either of them, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Both have one thing over Phil the Phake, neither is a degenerate gambler that acts like he isn't.
