But I guess because you pass drug tests you are definitely not on roids.

Wilbon is smart, articulate journalist who thinks critically. He also writes a lot better than you do. Your writing is terrible. Don't quit your day job.
How does being athletic make him unable to criticize Lance? Some hobby jogger like you is better qualified to judge Lance?

I think we all missed your sarcasm.
Exactly, Taoufik Makhloufi has never failed a drug test. He HAS to be clean.

This video was on the show. Worth a few seconds. Has nothing to do with Lance. A great fishing video:

Rojo, PLEASE STOP deleting threads that are Pro-Armstrong. It makes you look like an idiot not capable of hearing alternate viewpoints. This one will be deleted too.

There's your pro-Armstrong thread. It's been left up.
While I agree that pro-Armstrong threads should not be deleted, with the mountain of evidence against Armstrong, including the many, many cases of him being an absolute a**hole, I don't understand how anyone could be "pro-Armstrong" at this point.
It's great to see the media rip Lance a new one, from news outlets to sports writers to business-related sites. Once the Oprah confession rides its natural course, many of these journalists will start looking at the Livestrong angle and the last hope for the fanboys ("look at all the good he's done for cancer") will also come crumbling down as people realize that Lance's only interest in Livestrong was Lance himself. It was a brilliant move on his part, creating the cancer shield. Good for his image and good for his pocketbook. Lance had zero interest in the cancer patients that Livestrong supports, other than creating additional income for himself.

Which is kind of funny, since rojo's rants themselves usually look like something a third-grader would produce.
Are you guys really so nut-crushingly stupid that someone calling someone else a pig sends you into paroxysms of fanboyism? That's a sophisticated smackdown to you?
If Wilbon ever believed that Lance was clean, he's a fool who was intoxicated by Armstrong's fame and super stardom. While he was going off on Lance, he shoulda been doing rant about how he, like other journalists, get caught up in the aura of heroes just like everybody else.
Wilbon is an absolute charlatan of a sports 'personality'. He demands respect that he doesn't deserve. Worse than Lance.
Big lol at "Lance is a pig" though.

To the tiny few Armstrong defenders that are still out there, we hope you saw PTI today. Michael Wilbon was incredible.

He made rojo's rants look like a librarian reading to 3rd graders.
Seriously. This isn't about people defending him anymore. It's the crazy and awkward obsession LR and some in the general public have with him. Can we not move on already. Stop giving him the attention he wants.
Not to mention there are many other liars and cheats out there. Lance isn't the one and only American cheat in cycling. Geez.

I'd be more than happy to see Lance disappear from the news cycle, but don't kid yourself, Lance's appearance on Oprah has created the recent media firestorm, not "the crazy and awkward obsession of LR." He desperately wants to remain relevant (and rich). Lance himself has brought on the onslaught of articles and interviews by choosing to "confess" on Oprah's show.
That said, this is far from a run-of-the-mill doping story.

Wow, I am very impressed.
You really pegged the irony meter that time, J.R.
Thank you!
Will Lance be stripped of his Leadville 100 Mountain Bike win and second place finish??
I hope so.

Let's give Wilbon a break, shall we? After all, we'd all be a little off our games as well if we had to work every day with Tony "Barbara Streisand" Cornholer.

You don't like that people are paying attention to this story? Don't pay attention to it. Geez.
Most people who are Pro-Armstrong aren't saying he didn't dope. Most people who are Pro-Armstrong are humanists who don't believe it is right to obliterate someone for mistakes. I am not saying what he did was right, I am looking for some compassion and empathy. In the doping era they don't have the same idioms we do now and therefore it wasn't sacrilegious to dope. He isn't totally immoral. He still has done some miraculous things.
Also, don't pretend to know people's motivations. You have no clue what Lance's interests are concerning cancer.
No, he isn't totally immoral. I know that. But I don't really know his side at all because of the way everyone is communicating. I really have no idea what went on.

I totally agree with you. I wish we could hear more from him in a non-accusational setting so we can paint a complete picture. As of right now I only know things from radicals like the the Brojos.

Please get a freaking clue!
The issue with Lance that makes him a complete and total asshole is his decisions and actions to destroy, utterly destroy those who dared to tell the truth.
Nothing else is relevant.
Stop with the "Oh, let's not judge his doping so harshly..." Sure, he doped. So did many others in many sports. It's cheating and should be handled as such. It is not enough for folks to pile on and that is not what people are piling on about. Please try to catch up.
I'd really like that too. What non-accusational setting do you think would work? Oprah could promise to only ask questions if that would help.
