The guy is running A LOT and taking hard hits. It might persist for a little while he's young, but is it a sustainable QB practice?

Look at me and you have your answer!
What's an RG3? Is that like a newer version of an R2D2?
Never has never will in the NFL. Great for fantasy league but for winning super bowls give me the slow intelligent white guy.
Yea man, RG3 is one cool dude, but I just don't see his body holding up. Love his style tho
The scary thing is that he has the accuracy to back up his speed. The most important thing is he has options inside the pocket and out. When they figure out his running game, he'll be able to throw just as successfully. It's just a matter of not getting his head smashed in here.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say when all is said and done, RG3 will be remembered as the greatest of all time. This will be surely helped by the media, as they love smart black guys especially.
Vick had 6 solid seasons in Atlanta and 2 in Philly.
So 10 years is reasonable and not bad.
Vick
I don't think it's sustainable at the current rate, but he seems to be several notches ahead of Mike Vick - more accurate, smarter and a better leader.
Vick was bigger and stronger and still can barely last a season anymore (including missing many seasons with injuries).
RG3 already has an concussion this season and will only get worse.
In the NFL, you don't run if you want to last for long. Look at the Running backs, they don't last long either, and they are prepared for most of their hits, not sitting ducks like the QB's.
I give him 3 good seasons at most like this.
Vick's not bigger than Griffin

RG3 has put up the greatest statistical rookie season of all time, and it's not even close. He is more than just a mobile quarterback.
You all do realize Griffin is the most accurate passer in the league right now?? He doesn't just run.

Why you gotta mix facts with stereotypes?!
Vick isn't a good example of someone who didn't last -- he's been around for years. If RG3 lasts as long as Vick has, that'd be a great career.
Anyway it's not the hits that count, it's the injuries. As long as RG3 doesn't take too many concussions and avoids a knee injury, he's got a decent future.
Hell, the biggest hits he took last night were in the pocket. I think he wised up after that concussion. He's still running, but getting out of bounds or getting down more prudently.
Too bad Luch was already drafted. Washington would have been better off. Indy will be good for a long time. RG3 could be in for a Cam Newton type of year next year.

Who the hell is Luch?

Right. And how long until the suicide?
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
