Kemboi is listed in the 3000m : http://www.iaaf.org/Mini/IWC12/Results/ResultsByEventIWC.aspx?/eventCode=4935/sex=M/discCode=3000/result.html#M3000
Very intersting! How fast can he run???
Clearly, the only way properly to predict this is to first determine his best time at altitude and then do the proper conversion.
I thought that Jager was going to run another 3k this season, since Jerry wouldn't let him run a 5000m, but he's not listed for Rieti. He should have been in the 5 at Zurich. His season is over then?
he is class flat runner in the field & gone 12'49.04 this year
a prelim line of fit for him is
51.9 / 1'49.0 ->
if he gets a good race, he really shoud go well below 7'30
sadly, i don't think anyone in the field has <7'25 potential which is what everyone woud like to see...
