Or just EPO?
Or just EPO?
Helps them gain weight and raw speed possibly, but I think bad would outweigh the good.
Any type of high volume training takes a toll on the hormonal system. Distance running is visibly and obviously more catabolic as compared to bodybuilding. So any substance that can at least limit the amount of tissue damage should help. With a distance runners volume and goals, it doesn't have to be taken to increase muscle mass, but of it can maintain it or help rebuild what is destroyed, and recover faster how could it not potentially help? Not to mention just feeling more "up", fresh, and virile from the substance as opposed to being hormonally run-down.
Its obviously good, but I want my competition to think lower testosterone is a bad thing.
Big Muscles very bad, thats all test is good for, very bad, very hurtful for distance runners. Consider neutering so you can run faster, like women who produce much less testerone than men! Women run so fast, testosterone is so bad for you.
It makes your balls bigger, and running is all about the size of your balls, really.
Increasing testosterone, as with injections, creams, etc.
1) Increases hematocrit--not to the same degree as EPO, but nonetheless significantly.
2) Increases anabolism and decreases catabolism in muscle tissue, meaning faster recovery from workouts, better response to workouts and a greater upper limit to potential progress.
I'm guessing that lower average testosterone levels are a part of why we get slower as we get older.
Testosterone helps with repairing damage, which helps with recovery. As you age you can't recover as quickly as when you're younger, so you can't tolerate the same training load.
I'd like to see a study comparing the testosterone levels of male distance runners and the general population. In youth, it might not be so different. I'm betting a 40 year old distance runner has testosterone levels well above his sedentary peers though.

Ever heard of Floyd Landis? Testosterone is what he took the day after he lost 15min and the day before he put 20min on everyone else.
It's probably the best drug for your recovery.
Here is what cyclists usually "mix":
- Testosterone
- EPO/CERA
- growth hormones
- cortisone
- blood transfusions (not a drug)
Of course testosterone booster helps athletes increasing their muscle mass and strength. I see many athletes and bodybuilders these days often turn to testo supplements to see good results in short period of time. I suggest you to go for it... you could find many top rated testosterone pills at http://toptestosteroneboosters.org/. This website has given perfect review of the best test boosters on the market 2017.
Have you ever seen a top endurance athlete? If so, you can observe that there is, typically, not a bit of testosterone in these athletes' bodies. They are typically referred to as 'girly-men'. I think testosterone has a negative effect on endurance athletes. Carrying a purse and shaving the legs works better for these pseudo-men. Football, that is the sport that employs MEN!

At least we know that you have never used.
Testosterone helps with overall recovery including bones. Only way to gain mass is if you did NOT run, lifited weights and ate tons of food like body builders. Long distance running is way too catabolic and testosterone GREATLY aides in recovery.
Yes

depends.
If you have low T then you'll be getting fatter. A therapeutic dose will help you keep the weight off.
If you are just taking it for its ped effects, then there's a good chance you'll be beaten or shot.

Eh, not really true. He transfused a blood bag that was glowing because of taking test too soon prior to removing the blood- i.e. the blood bag had test in it. Though, you are correct in the sense that it helps immensely with recovery.
