Craig Miller once covered me in a game of ultimate frisbee on the UW campus. I caught it once, I think. I consider that a fair accomplishment |

You do realize that Acosta is a former Foot Locker champ and he beat Centrowitz at NCAAs in 2010. You do realize that Anderson just got the 'A' in the 1,500. Before you post ignorant things, please realize these are real people you are writing about. You seemingly have two options. 1) Either learn about the sports and get some facts 2) Get a life so you don't needlessly need to tear down others. |

On another note, have you ever met any of these runners in person? I won't say who or whether they were men or women or both, but I had the privilage to meet, hang out, and run with two of these runners and they are awesome, hard working individuals who are trying to make their dreams become a reality. I'm sorry you're so bitter and have some sort of problem with these runners. Grow up. |

Fawn Dorr and Molly Beckwith as the supporting cast in that 2008 race. Anyway, Miller has had a really good year with some PR's and consistency. He just hasn't been able to pop that really big time. I'm pretty sure he also rabbited Rupp's indoor AR and the 10000 at Payton Jordan where everybody went crazy. |

you would do well to print this out and tape it on top of your keyboard so you can give it a thorough read through every time you think about posting something on this site again. |

posted again for rojo to personally read and apply, because the audacity and irony of this post is really just too much. just too much. |

I do not discount the talent or drive of these athletes. However, I just want to point out that Olympic and World Championship runners consist of a pool of about 5 runners in each event. The movie titled, "5000m, nothing comes easy" does a great job pointing this out. On a sidenote, there have been lots of #1's and first rounds picks that do not fair well at the professional level. Football is a prime example. |
