closed in :52, destroyed lagat
not bad for a guy who could barely have run :52 in an open 400 until this season.
impressive race, but i think we all know he's juiced.
as if he could destroy lomong without a little something extra, haha.

He's on many years of uninterrupted / uninjured training...designed by a very dedicated and experienced coach... So what you are seeing is consistent development into the abilities needed to perform at each next level.
Gene therapy. Slooooowly turning into a Kenyan.
He's been able to run 52 since at least his senior year of college. I saw him do it in some very slow 3000M at Oregon. Its always just been a question of doing it at professional championship racing pace.
Highly doubt Rupp is on anything. Salazar and Rupp are both pretty devout Catholics, and I just don't think it's in them to resort to those kinds of means to win.
Haha. Oh man. Leave Relgion out of it. There is a sh*t storm brewing around Salazar and all his gimmicks. You don't know the half of it folks. The hunt is on. Just wait.
He's on his bike six hours a day....uh, wait..

WTF IS RUPP ON?
Fire. The podium. Your mind (apparently). The record list. The Olympic team for the 5,000m. The Olympic team for the 10,000m. Those are just a few of the many things that Rupp is on.
You mad, bro?
props to him he has really elevated himself to a higher level through hard consistent training.
Posting it once wasn't enough? Have to keep spouting crap and then keep posting on your own thread under diffferent names? You are sad.
I agree with the years of uninterrupted training comment. I wonder how athletes would do if they had a coach for 12 years or more... Funny how his system doesn't work for many in his group. It does help to coach some of the most talented in the world.
Something to consider though is that Al Sal toyed with PEDs no reason he wouldn't have his boy do some toying with legal limits tour de France style.
did my post get deleted? what did I say that was wrong?...:( Please tell me.
just in case you're not trolling & are an f-tard, watch the end of this race doucher. he had "it" a year ago (and well before then): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FimwEiZlfNI

IMO Rupp, Lagat & Lomong are all juiced. And the detractors should relax- I didn't publish this, but gave an imo. Most medal threats on the track are juiced. That's how I see it. And Barry Bonds never tested positive.

it was probably a perfect storm.
1. salazar takes a coaching job at a high school.
2. 1 kid on the team had the potential to be a world class runner, it would not matter how good salazar could coach if the kid did not have the work ethic, motivation and talent.
3. the kid with the potential had a good coach, sticking with a bad coach would not get it done.
4. the kid happened to be in one of the few places where people care about track/distance running.
6. the coach just happened to be a friend of a former runner who is a billionaire and the head of nike, which meant any technology that would help with rupps training, recovery etc. would be readily available to him.
7. a country the size of theUSA probably has several kids every year with the potential to be as good or better than rupp, but will never be as good as rupp just because all the pieces to the puzzle wont fall in place as it has for rupp and salazar.
haha typo i went to 6. after 4, really it was a typo i can count, at least to 10 lol.
I was a AL Sal/Rupp fanboy until Salazar became close to L.Armstrong. Makes me suspicious because Armstrong is the biggest fraud ever in a sport dominated by frauds.
I hope Salazar/Rupp/MO are doing this clean, but sometimes you have to take off your USA goggles and look at this objectively.
Rupp's progression has been gradual over the years, but that 52 sec lap has me a bit puzzled.

it is not that surprising that a sub 13 minute 5000 runner can close in 52 when the race is at a slow pace (for him), a few years ago lagat ran a last 400 in 51 point in a race he ran 12:59
a sub 13 minute 5000 runner does not need drugs to do a 52 off a slow pace.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
