brohonestly, this years race is wide open. Just rummaging through the regional results, north central seems to be the only team that looks like a sure fire #1 contender. Everyone else looked pretty normal by past years standards. Neither Calvin nor Haverford stood out to me as a team that I could make a strong argument for definitely being in the national title conversation, let a lone definitely finishing in the top 3. You have NYU also looking pretty strong out of the Atlantic. And obviously, all the Midwest teams are in the mix this year as well (i'm not sure about Eau Claire, but Lacrosse, WashU, and Wheaton all seem to be coming along quite nicely). Obviously, we don't know what tricks can still be pulled off at the meet, but I'd say its as wide open as its ever been this year. This, I think, will be the most exciting team race in recent DIII history. A lot of parity across the board. Should be fun to watch.
