Much better result. He did this double too when he was with Alberto if I recall.

just noticed this. looks strikingly similar to the 1500/5000 double he did this time last year. although, that was in march of 2011 if i renimber right.
WEBB IS BACK BABY!!
What was the double times when he did it with Alberto?
He ran 3:41/14:15 in August 2010. He later ran 3:37 and 3:36.
Now he's running similar times in April, so I'd say he and Vig know what they are doing.
I still believe!!!
I'm gonna take this as the real result. At this rate, Webb should be running 3:22 in two races. Nice.
whats better, a 1:54 or 14:15?
3:43.28 is equal to 1:49 and 14:15 is equal to 1:52/3:50.
The 5k is a few percent closer to his PR, plus it's a double so presumably not a 100% effort.
Not terrible.
but was he relaxed?
How does this indicate that Webb is "back"? That's 13 seconds off his PR for 1500m. And the 5000m time is more than a minute off his PR.
TALENT NEVER GOES AWAY WEBB IS BACK SNITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how is a 14:15 good for a 13:10 runner?
Hey, that's great news! From the results, looks like he got nicked at the line by a few dudes in the 1500 and broke away late to win the 5000. But was anyone there with some play-by-play?
Mike Banks and Andrew Springer were ahead of him going into the last 150m and then Joe Stilin got him and Springer at the line.
Where the hell was flotrack? I feel like we're back in the dark ages waiting for links (that don't work until 10 o'clock) to scroll through results pages.
It was probably a go with the flow, for the win kinda thing. Not like a workout, but like just following the leader and then going for it that last lap.
I would be more encouraged if it had been 3:35 and 13:45. Those kind of results would have indicated something substantial was at hand.
It was most likely a workout effort. These results are very promising. Can't wait to see what he'll do next! Alan in London would rock.
