4:43 for mile 5 as they came down off the overpass. Men's pace a bit quicker that one.
Big women's pack desi goes to front 10 minutes in but huge huge pack.

Um I don't see Hall in the 5 mile split yet...
Me neither. That page is a POS.
USATF page is officially overloaded. No surprise there.
Yeah, I'm getting the same internal error.
Twitter says Hall still leading with Ritz on shoulder but wind is picking up on the course.

Agreed. It's not even showing the womens splits.
I'm glad desi is going to the front. Her strength is the ability to run her own race, I'd hate to see her get caught in too slow of a pace. She just needs to go out and run 2:24. Don't turn pretenders into contenders!
This pace is getting out of hand.

the blockheads running it did not expect to get several hundred if not thousand simultaneous update requests every 5 minutes.
Annoying...
phew thought it was only me. There can't be THAT many people checking the splits...

Ryan Hall is going to crush the field and take the $50,000 check, can't blame him.
It's too bad because that actually was a very helpful tool
Mile 5 was 4:43. Still same 7 guys and the pack they are 38 secs ahead of the rest.
The live runnersworld blog is more reliable than the USATF site: http://www.runnersworld.com/cda/microsite/article/0,8029,s6-239-569-0-14140-0,00.html
Desi leading women, 12:00 at 2 miles. Dang I could hang at that pace! This is a great setup for the 10,000m runners in the race.
nice find
29:53 10k
29:54 at 10k 2:06:08 pace
4:50 for mile 6. still lead pack of 7
Will be interesting to see how many of these 7 make it to the finish.
