YES, we need rivalries, but we need to promote the friendly rivalries -- because that is what they are.
It's isn't macho posturing football. There's no fights like in hockey. No bench clearing like the NBA. It is a sport of individuals.
You might just consider that by the solo discipline of the miles put in alone-ish, and the training out of the team atmosphere or any limelight...that far and away these guys mostly respect each other.
