I'm caught up with this debate; which is more efficient/better? Long or short strides? Normally I take medium sized strides, but today on a quick 3 mile run I started lengthening my stride and found it easier when running with my shorter friend. I'm like 5'10" and he's 5'6", and comparatively my legs are longer than his are. I know I should try to avoid overstriding, but for someone such as myself with pretty long legs, should I change my stride to make it longer?
