Haha, it's funny, when I saw the result I actually thought to myself: "Hm 14:06 I thought he'd go sub 14". Then I stopped myself and realized, this is a f*cking high school kid, and this is indoor track, and the time he ran was good enough for a HS Indoor record. It does seem as if we (myself very much included) have become spoiled by runners like Verzbicas. I'm not attacking anyone on this thread mind you. I even admitted that I thought he'd go faster, but the fact still remains, we're talking about a high school senior. Sure he's no ordinary hs senior, but the time he ran is outstanding, and I'd bet he could've gone much faster. I also understand that it's a good thing to never be satisfied, and to always be hungry for more, but there also does come a point where you have to sit back, calm down, and say "oh wow that was an amazing effort". That's all.
