Molly Huddle 14:44
Molly Huddle 14:44
Everyone in the race was below 15! Nuts!
She only got 10th with a 14:44.76?
Faster than Regina D. Jacobs?
Faster than Shalane Flanagan, more importantly.

Wish I had seen the race to see how long she was with the first group. Sally K (14:38) got yet another PR and the young Twell did as well (14:54).
WOW!!! She has had an AWESOME year... huge race for her!! She has consistently been good since HS. Huddle, Lisa Koll, and the rest are the future!
She raced beautifully although a bit too much in the second lane. She just lost contact at about 600m to go.
Steph Twell ran right with her to there as well. They probably helped each other mentally.
Great to watch
She ran in the 2nd lane for most of the first 4 km near the back of the lead group. At 4k the lead women pushed the pace and Molly slowly lost contact. She didn't slow down, the lead women just picked up the pace. The winner ran about a 62 last lap.
red flag!
Do you think Flanagan’s American record of 14:44 is within reach?
"I wasn’t thinking about it after Paris, because seven seconds is a lot when you’ve already run that kind of PR. I really don’t know where I’m going to find seven seconds. It’s something I can try for, at least. It’s a good goal to have for the end of the summer—something to just get you into the race. I want to get into the mix in the first 3K. In Paris, I felt like I was off a little bit. I was leading a third pack of people. There’s got to be more of that. I’ve got to be dragged rather than leading a little group. I’m thinking about improving on what I’ve done. I don’t want to get it into my head that I’m going for an American record or something like that. It’s a tall order. If Shalane’s done it, then you really have to be in phenomenal shape to do it. It’s not at all expected. I think there’s a three percent chance of it happening."
of course people will say that in today's environment. but from someone who knew her for several years--my head would explode if what you're implying were true. she's literally the last person in the world i'd suspect.
GOOD GOLLY MS.MOLLY.
The Golden Domer gets Flanagan's 5 Km record.
GoIrish.
she is clean.
3% LOL

No, she is American, all Americans are clean, forget that 15:53 seasonal best last year. Thia is perfectly natural.
It is always the ones you least suspect.

probably injured. Ran 15.17 in '07!!
She has been good for a LONG time. HS 2 mile record holder (though that is a weaker record compared to the 3200) as well as American Jr. record holder and now American record holder!!
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
