Stop trolling. Of course she was kicked out of class. Anyone and everyone would have had her taken out.
You ass. There wasn't any racism from the professor. The girl admitted that she threatened someone in the class. There is no room for that in the classroom, and she should have been kicked out. If she didn't leave, she was subject to arrest. Period. She also used completely inappropriate language "f that sh" and "I paid to f-in be here" and on and on. Even the african american male student tried to calm her and get her to shut up. There have been way too many acts of violence on college campuses lately, and many more than you may realize. Many acts of violence do not make the nightly news or national news. Many are "just" threats. Many escalate beyond that. It is completely unaccpetable behavior, no matter the discussions in class, no matter how heated the subject matter may be. Violent behavior or even the threat of violent behavior from students or professors must be dealt with quickly and with no room for error.
Got what she deserved. You can bet she checks the black box.
Typical letsrun racism.
Why is it so hard for whites to admit they are being racist? They don't even realize what happened to the student.
She was doing nothing wrong, the Professor was the one who insulted the student if you listen closely. Unfortunately the Professor determines the grades and everything else. She didn't at all try to reason with the student in private, she instead made it a public thing.
Gawd you all are so racist.
Wow.....this is university life in 2010? Count me out.

She pays for her classes just like everyone else. She even said so in the video. She has every right to be there in that classroom.

So do the people who want to learn and not fight.
"You gonna have to carry me out"
"Why you putting your hands on me?"
Can't have it both ways.
And you are privy to all the details leading up to this incident? If so, fill us all in.
No matter what is said to anyone or by anyone in class, violent behavior are not tolerated in college classrooms. The one exception to the "no matter what is said" rule is, of course, threats of violence. The girl admitted she threatened to "kick that bitch's ass right there." Threat. Admitted. Recorded. Arrested. End of story. If it comes out later that the professor did something to insult this young woman or embarrass her in class or treat her unfairly, then she needs to be dealth with also. However, none of that justifies threats of violence to anyone in the class room.

So typical of there ilk.
The other student probably laughed at her. How is that fair?
When the facts are shown you will see that the black student was treated unfairly and the cops used excessive force on her. She was not being excessively violent. She was upset and no one, including the professor, did anything to stop it.
It is an example of racism. And its amazing how many racists there are and how easy it is for you to dismiss this incident.
Who would have thought there were so many in this day and age that are still racist and can't even admit it.
We won't really know what to think until President Obama advises us on the matter. Then it will be cleared up.
Actually, my "so this is university life in 2010" comment wasn't solely or even chiefly aimed at her. The reaction by the campus police was extreme to say the least.

Simple. Truly racist people have no idea they are racist.

What did I do?
Haha, "I ain't even fightin'."
Which other student laughed at her? Oh, you wrote "probably" which means you have no idea what happened. You are trying to stir things up and bait someone into racist dialogue. It does not matter if someone laughed at her, she had no right to threaten someone in the classroom, an act to which she admitted. If another student did bait her in some way, that student needs to be dealt with also. However, I will say it again and again, there is no room for violence or even threats of violence in the classroom. It doesn't matter who makes the threat, what color they are, where they come from, there is no room for threats or violence. None. Period.

Extreme to say the least? They don't know what to expect, if the police have to be called in to deal with someone they're going to do it the safest way they can. Especially if she tells them she isn't going to move and they're going to have to carry her.
If she had been a fat WHITE chick acting all ghetto she would have still been arrested.
It's not about being black. It's about being fat, noisy, ghetto, and disruptive to people who paid good money to LEARN at college.
She was treated poorly by the professor because she was black, then by the cops because she was black.
Racism, end of story. A white student would have never been treated in this fashion.
Really? It required three guys and handcuffs to subdue a person who was sitting down?
