I just saw a SUV today with a 13.1 sticker on the back window. That's the strangest sports-related vanity sticker I've ever seen. Who takes such pride in completing a half-marathon, besides that guy?

Billy Madison said it best. "Well it was tough for me, so BACK OFF!!!"
How long until people start slapping a "5k" sticker on their SUVs?
That's it, I am going to start making P.O.D. stickers in case any of you want to buy them.

Sometimes I don't get some of you Letsrun posters. MOST here would say it's not the fact that you can complete a race but that you do it QUICKLY. This is why ultra marathoners are demonized here (though, you CAN actually try to run an ultra QUICKLY if you want!).
So, who says the guy is proud that he COMPLETED one. Maybe he ran it in 1:04 and is proud of that. Some people just have a race they gravitate towards. Seems fine to me to put that sticker on their car.
What stickers are on your car? "Obama" "SRV" in the oval?
"My kids are honor students at Worthington Middle School"?
I want "'Thon" or "Half-'Thon" on a sticker.
i did a HM as a tempo run after the track season was over my freshman year, and i wasn't even training for anything anymore

Rumor has it that Bekele has one stuck to the ass of his mule.
I gotta believe the only people who put 13.1 or 26.2 stickers on their SUV's are gallo-walking soccer moms. They probably also have that stupid 13.1 / 26.2 tatoo on their kankles.
Are there 21.1 and 42.2 stickers?
you are awesome...

I think you missed the joke here. Look at his Name: Bill Brasky. It's a Saturday Night Live thing if you are old enough to remember when the show was funny.
Printing up my 800m sticker as we speak...
Dosesn't Webb have personalized plates that say MILE or 1MILE?
Guess I'll think twice before I put my "DNF" bumper sticker on.
In Europe I would imagine there are 42.2 stickers. Or are Europeans too cool to get excited about running the big 26.2? Maybe only egocentric Americans would bother with this.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
