Absolutely dominated at Penn State with a small spread. Look out for this team to knock off Wisconsin when they go back to that course for Big 10's

Easy now. That was a small meet, with Penn State leaving out all their top runners. Lets just allow the Michigan guys to go under the radar and enjoy the season without putting too much pressure on the Big 10 meet. Wisconsin has come through every time, so they deserve the title of favorite.
Go Blue!
Very impressive results. I'm sure that the rest of the conference teams are huddling right now trying to figure out what they need to do to beat Michigan for the championship.
The other teams in the Big 10 are employing the powers of ACORN to help dismantle the 2009 Michigan XC Juggernaut. ACORN's got some free time, since they got boot from doing the 2010 Census. I heard ACRON can help them got some prosititutes (or as ACORN says "freelance entertainers") for post-meet parties!
Mich beat SUNY Geneseo by 15 points. I have a hard time seeing then being a powerhouse.

A small spread is not always a great thing, when everyone of them lost to a guy who was a 908 3200 guy last year. No offense to lee...he looks poised to be a big runner this year...good for him
But i'd much rather see a HUGE spread, that involved a Michigan guy blowing the race open. Having a tight spread will only get you crushed if you're way behind a lot of people. Too bad Lex is out of eligibility...looks like he's healthy and ready to roll this year...a forgotten man amidst all the great runs the past year...he's still one hell of a talent.
Now i'm not saying Michigan will get crushed....i just don't see any previously unknown positives that came from this race...at all. It looks like it was just a tune up. No need to get excited, especially about a tight spread, but also no reason to get worried.
Michigan is going to the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational on Oct 3rd. We will have a good idea of how they stack up after that race.
Do you really think that we will learn much from the Wisco Adidas Invite? I doubt that the top runners from any team will pound it out on October 3rd. And you don't really know if runners are "training through" this meet either.

Absolutely dominated?
They beat a DIII team by 15 points, most of them being decided by a matter of a seconds.
Who does Michigan have? Any new frosh that are gunna make a difference?
no zach ornelas, they dont
They'll be running hard and full teams at the Wisconsin Invite 10-3!!!
Correct me if i'm wrong anybody, but Syracuse did the same thing last year, but was faster. No need to blow this result out of proportion.
Syracuse got the top 6 spots last year. Michigan couldn't capture 1 or 3 to a couple Division III runners.

But that was Syracuse's peak race for the season...
piggy backing on this thread-does anyone know if that movie they made a couple years back surfaced?
At least Michigan beat Notre Dame in football.
And Grand Valley State will knock off Michigan State this weekend: http://d2cross.blogspot.com/
Is Nick Willis training with the team still? I swear we saw him out here running last week
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
