I think ST posters know more about running. This is because they have to have the ability and knowledge to know how to run under very stressful conditions (like an Ironman), and how to deal with big fatigue after the biking leg.

What is an ST?
An ST is a forum.slowtwitch.com poster.
i was a damn good runner and have a degree in ex phys and i coach and am cscs. i also do ironmans and got all america for the 2007 race calender. NO NO NO NO NO NO. st'ers do not know more about running because of the reasons you gave. so if someone goes out and runs in the heat of the day everyday just to make their performance suck does that make them more knowledgeable??? just because their race lends itself to higher levels of glycogen depletion has nothing to do with knowledge of training. you either understand energy models/periodization or you do not. i hope to god this was a trolling attempt. and to really answer your question... i would say that letsrunners know a heck of a lot more than the st'ers

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
