I got this idea from the Brooks ID summer camp thread. Everyone says we should have a letsrun convention, road race, or whatever, but an even better idea would be to have a letsrun summer camp. It could be someplace like Flagstaff where we could stay at a campground or cabin. It could be for a week or two so we have the chance to get to know each other, train together, etc. There could be coaches there too. Think about it.
Yeah, we can go to Gaza and help rebuild a freedom fighter training camp or a mosque for world peace.

O.K. then, we can go to England and teach them how to brush their teeth and pickup their dog's shit rather than leaving it for others to track into their house.

I think we should have a MMA camp. Since were all so awesome at running a race just couldn't decide a true champion especially since we all would break the world record for that distance, possibly causing the world to implode from the high concentration or total badas$ness that would be there. Plus, if it's a fighting camp, we could get a lot of money from people betting on fights and it would be very humorous to see everyone duke it out.
The Letsrun road race is still the #1 idea out there, instead of numbers everyone runs with their sign on name. Why this hasn't happened I have no idea. It would be HUGE.
I know I'd fly to Boulder or Flagstaff or whatever running "mecca" they decided to hold the race.
wouldnt everybody have to register a username for that to happen?

The Brojos kind of suck at business. The request for T-shirts has been going on for years. Look at the site design (they finally decided to do something about that though). There are a lot of things the Brojos could be doing, but they aren't.
I still love letsrun though.
It will be like a King Crimson concert. 1 or 2 girls and a whole lot of nerds.

Going to summer camp would require me to leave my parents basement. I'm not willing to do that just yet.
The brojos have ridiculous power just because of their massive running audience.
Sell t-shirts and you would make a fortune.
Hold a track meet and it would be well attended and extremely competitive.
Direct a road race and you'd get top times AND wild festivities.
Team up with flotrack, get them to commentate the meet (and make sure Andrew Carlson commentates! pay him as much as you have to) and show it live.
So far this website has basically been a congregation point for running knowledge...and a fair bit of lunacy.
As the premier voices of our sport - I think Wejo and Rojo actually have a responsibility to do good things for it. The Ryan Shay fund promotion was good but they can do better.

Yes, I could lead the "girls' camp," which means I will have a cabin to myself.
If Masterbooner, Blowhard and nsmb will be there, and they add a 5K race on the last morning of camp, I'll be there.
