There's nothing like replying to your own post.
You definitely have a problem to post something like this. Yes, there are jealous people out there who don't like Rupp because he is the #1 most outstanding young American distance runner. But, no, he is not the most disliked....only malcontents like you apparently hate him. Rupp is, from all that I've seen, a polite and talented young runner with an unlimited future in the sport. Let it be, and crawl back into your hole.
The topic of the thread had nothing to do with my own opinions of Rupp. In fact i agree with you on everything that you posted about him.
A check of the IP addresses of the five previous post revealed they all came from the same computer. Someone is lonely.

lol, you pretty much owned.
either say yes he is the most hated runner in NCAA or provide a name of someone who is more hated. Otherwise don't answer.
In my opinion I would say yes, he is the most hated. I personally have nothing against the guy but i ain't gonna kiss his ass.
If the answer is yes, it's mostly because he's the best known NCAA runner. People on letsrun will hate anyone if they get the chance; Rupp is just the only runner whose personality we know enough about to make fun of.
"most hated runner on letsrun"
are the rupp haters the most petty and pathetic people in running?
I think Rupp is a pretty cool guy. He is only being led by influence. He will breakout on his own soon.
How do you check the IP address of posts?
You don't. That was a bluff.
I could be that lonely person... But i'm not. I always thought German Fernandez was the most hated.
Okay...what legitimate reason is there to hate Galen Rupp, a talented, goodnatured, hardworking runner? I mean...give us just one.
I'll give you a few.....rich, spoiled, personal coach (Salazar), given everything. He hasn't had to work for anything in his life. I guarantee you that you give any 9th grader the same advantages he's had his whole life and they would become just as good. I also guarantee that you take away salazar and all the money his family has and he wouldn't even be breaking 30 mins for 10k.
why should he be hated for being born into money? it's not something he chose, and he'd be doing himself a disservice by not using his family's resources, which they can obviously afford, to give him better opportunities. sure, everybody loves a story about a kid born with one leg shorter than the other who thinks every race is a work of art blah blah blah, but don't hate on the kid because he's advantaged. do you think he's had to work less hard to become an elite runner? if you do you're fooling yourself.
oh, just realized you're a troll. you got me.
This thread is not really about whether or not Rupp, is a good runner, good person, etc. Nor is the question asking if those who dis like rupp, do so for good reason. It is simply: "is Rupp the NCAA's most hated runner?" i would say yes.
"Any 9th grader" would become as good? Well, you just forfeited the right to be taken seriously, with that comment.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
