oh shoot ha ha look out SUNYAC this kid is going to be good huh i wonder how he did in HS i only heard of the yernye kid from there, they had a steepler i think and a sprinter but i never heard of this kid b4
Leonetiming has states results up...what happened, my guess is bad weather...that course does not drain well, still the team leaders from slu and ithaca did not look good.
Slu ladies looked good! Their 5th was a little far back for them to take the team title next weekend, but they are looking good.
He didn’t really do too much in high school. He ran a few solid miles (4:35 PR) but was more into his studies than running. He went to Bing his first year and the coach told him in order to be on the team he had to run a sub 16:20 right on the spot. He didn’t, so he ran by himself and lifted a lot. He ran did about 80 miles a week in the summer as well as lifting a whole lot. Now he’s running sub 26. I bet the Bing coach feels like a jackass.

I'm not sure about bad weather. Remember that the women's course isn't a full 5k too. SLU's normal 4/5 (DiMarino) was their 6th, but Atwood had a very good race. Ithaca's women do not look very impressive. There is a huge gap between their second and fifth.
whoa...slu lost to UR...still think they are top 5 in the region?
Also not too impressed with SLU women, unless the front 2 just were doing enough to win. I don't know what happened to Ithaca. Nothing impressive for the men's side
slu's men had a tight pack and Ramsey was their 4th man. My guess is they tried to win it with as little effort as possible but were upset by Roch. Ithaca looked horrible on the other hand...
What happened to everyone?
It HAD to be muddy...
Great run by Curt Bell and Tim Shea is back in form. What the hell happened to Drew Hodge? He should have been 10 places higher.

Yes. Enough said.

This is a pretty uninformed comment. I don't think there's any serious doubt that SLU will be in the top 5. They have shown that they can beat every other serious contender for fifth, i.e. Ithaca, Suny-P. To imply that they should feel lucky to eke out 5th place is just wrong. Moreover, I think it would take an offday from SLU for TCNJ to beat them, not the other way around. TCNJ's number one should certainly mix it up in the top 5 to 8, but Ramsey won't be far behind. The SLU top 5 have packed it up front, unlike in previous yeears, as Dean so cognizantly pointed out, while the TCNJ pack has been consistently further back and further spaced. Obviously, Cortland should win, but NYU, Suny-G and SLU will be close in the 2-4 spots.
You misunderstand. I'm saying that SLU shouldn't be overly disappointed with finishing 5th. In my eyes, there are three teams that are clearly better and one team that has a history of peaking well at Regionals that is still a threat.
I'm not saying they would be lucky to beat Ithaca and Pburg- the Saints are clearly better than all but 4 teams in the region. SLU and TCNJ will duke it out for 4th and 5th, in my predictions.
why so serious, you reek of favoritism.
How did SLU look fine with Ramsey in 4th when they only beat Ithaca by about 3 POINTS. While at the same time Drew Hodge (the Ramsey equivalent to Ithaca) also finished in 4th for his team.... oh but they looked horrible.
F*** man it probably means nothing either way, the course was ridicules from what I heard and I think its a foolish race to begin with but come on give proper credit where its do and if your going to be analytical use some sort of intelligent form of deduction.
UofR ...great job, sneak attack may have been a week early
Nick Stenuf... welcome back and way to prove people wrong about this course not playing into your strengths
Curt Bell and Tim Shea... agree with the above poster former bomber, good effort.

Sorry about that above post, all I did was copy and paste... I meant to add that ' Run From SLU campus safety ' has a good point but if SLU was running together then they could have been potentially holding back
what happened today? kudos to UofR, but i wasn't expecting that. didn't they lose to fredonia at thier own course?
Congrats to U of R. They did lose to Fredonia in that meet, so its always fun to see some big upsets like this.
