You got to go into the forums section and find 100KM/100BEERS by Shane Lavell
were you drunk when you typed all of that?
Seriously bro, I couldn't understand half of the shit you wrote. But if you're wasted, then all the power to you. I say the more people on the beer train, the merrier. Way to go Ziggy. You're doing great!

Sounds like you've only recently entered the wild world of intoxicants. It's not all good times, bro.
So he was at 52 beers at the end of day 4? Got to average 16 for the next 3 days.
and only six miles a day...
I hated finals week when I was in college, The stress of finals would make that a suck-azz week for me, I would rather drink the 100 beers in Cacun on spring break.
true, but would you want to run the 100 miles on spring break in cancun?

52 beers total
15 tonight
2 posts ago, you wrote that he had 38 beers total. Then, you said he had 9 tonight (12/12). Then, in the post above, you said he eventually got to 15 beers tonight. That would put the total at 53, not 52! Are you sure he has 52 and not 53? I wouldn't want him to miss the record by one beer only to find out that his support group messed up the arithmetic :-)
Also... his running total is 81 beers as of "close-of-business" on 12/12.
The count may be slightly off, we need to do a recount. Ziggy has been popping the tabs off of each can and is wearing them around his neck on a chain. It is truly a sight to behold
What school are you guys from? I want to relay the message of this legendary feat to the members of my team. Something this awesome needs to be known by college cross country runners everywhere.
Keep up the good work ziggy!
bump..... its fallen off the front page. lets revive this, cui dont want to have to go digging through the annels of letsrun forums to find the dramatic conclusion. its getting twords the end of the week, more consistant updates and status reports are requested. Is he still breathing?
more updates, less Shane Lavell
BUMP. lets get an update.
maybe he died
Ziggy is still alive.
Miles: 16 in a fresh snow and sloppy conditions (89 total)
Beers: Working on ~7-8 at dinner as we speak (~60 total)
Events: During a dinner mint war in the dining hall threatened to throw a dish of butter at anyone who hit him. Moments later he was hit. Ensuing events involved the butter dish hitting a girl a few tables over on an errant toss. The food fight ended...
woke up this morning, then he ran 16 miles straight. then at 3:15 he began drinking. His mileage is at 89 miles in 5 days, he has drank 7 beers last time i saw him. the goal is 18 beers overall today. to make the next two days 16 beers each
The food fight ended... up until Ziggy was hit with a small cube of cheese, It was at this point, he looked to his neighbor to the left, grabbed the hunk of steak sitting in front of him, and threw it blindly in the direction the cheese had come from. Also, One member of our team received crabs from our assistant athletic director. The current count is at 62 beers and 89 miles.
I think they put out the movie "I AM LEGEND" too quickly...
if this turns out to be a clever troll like the ice bath 800, i am going to kill myself. i need this.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
