That would be awesome, lets get all these guys back and do this thing. I wonder how high they could do with competition? |

well if you did the 100 miles 100 beers do the triple 100 miles 100 beers 100 hours |

Or just have a competition to see who can do the most miles and most beers. But keep it true to the original- the lesser of the two numbers counts (so 125 beers and 110 miles = 110). |

Stupid idea, stupid thread, stupider to do during finals. Stupid stupid human trick, and Darwin wards candidate all in one. Some of you people are so witless it is stultifying. |

been thinking about Ziggy's accomplishment, and got to wondering about his fuel efficiency. I think the final tally was 107 miles & 105 beers in a week? That works out to about 10.67 miles per gallon. Kind of reminds me how cross country races are scored; lowest score wins. |

But what about 0 beers? Infinite? Undefinable? YEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! |

I'd be surprised if any legit distance runner posting on "letsrun" could even drink 100 beers in one week WITHOUT running. 14 beers and 14 miles per day? Get the f*&k outta with here that s*&t.....not even possible (for the majority). 7/10 on the troll scale, only due to the amount of response. |

The fact that this thread gets bumped every so-often is just a testament to how EPIC this thread really is. One of my favorite LR threads of all time (along with David Torrence's downhill mile thread). Seriously, for those that haven't read this whole thing...do it, it won't disappoint. |

Remember the guy claimed he was going to drink 6 beers in a 15 minute ice bath and then run a 400 against a washed up, overweight former teammate? |

yes, this thread and the EddyLee thread are the most awe-inspiring undertakings on here. Mad respect to both. |

Not that anyone will care but over the last few days i have been doing a challenge similar. I did 64 miles and 80 beers in 92 hours. So over a 7 day period i was on track for 140 beers and 112 miles. I went- day 1: 13 miles am, 3 beers am, 3miles pm, 14 beers pm. day 2: 13miles am, 6 beers early pm, Beer mile(3miles/4beers incl w/u), 12beers pm. total 32miles, 39 beers day 3: 12miles am, 6 beers am, 4miles pm, 14 beers pm. (48miles, 59 beers) day 4: am: 9 miles, am. 4 beers, pm-4 miles, 17 beers, 3 miles drunk to finish 92 hours after i started. (64miles, 80 beers) |

In order for this to be legit and interesting you need to post pics like the last guy on this thread did and keep us updated constantly--otherwise it gets boring. Just a helpful tip. It's a bit late now, but if someone would follow the above tips, the challenge would be more epic than even Ziggy's attempt. |

I just posted this in the other thread, but a hasher by the name of Shocker in State College, PA, completed the 100/100/100. He did it starting on New Year's Eve of 2008/New Year's Day 2009. Final totals after 100 hours were like 104 beers and 101 miles. He followed Beer Mile rules, all of his beers were at least 5% ABV. He also wore a pedometer or GPS and logged all miles run/walked. |
