Well, for one thing, you could die. Secondly, testing positive wouldn't bode well for your career. And thirdly, if you are lucky enough to avoid the first two, you would know that whatever success you had, it wasn't really you that had achieved it.

how long does it take to see results from epo? just wondering as i have started my first cycle
I notice results in two weeks....by 4 weeks you'll notice a lot...by 6 weeks you're flying.
By 8 weeks, if you are training right, your VO2 max power becomes your threshold power.....so you get about a 12% increase in aerobic power. Some guys get 15%, the odd guy gets 20% and some get 10%.
If you get down to 5-6% body fat then a person REALLY can get a big boost to VO2 max as dropping weight also increases VO2 max.

How fast could Bekele run a mile? Probably not much faster than he runs a 3k - which fits the model above, precisely.
Cheers
You'll have chronic, bad headaches.

You can say that about a lot of elite long distance runners. They really don't slow down that much as distances increase. Especially compared to us mortals.
It would simply be stupid to not use EPO, if you made a living by running. I don't think bekele is a stupid man.
you would have to be a naive fool to believe this.

and if bekele is not on EPO, then why is he not beaten by somebody who is?
c'mon man, Bekele is sooo good that he can spank guys who are doing HGH and EPO - or something similar - he's just like Lance.
from an undisclosed location regarding the safest PED to use to avoid detection:
If yo are going to be OOC tested then stick to HGH and epo. HGH has no test.
EPO is BY FAR...did I saw BY FAR!... the best PED and as long as you are not out of comp tested then it is FOOL PROOF! You simply stop taking the epo a week out from race day. If dosing IV you can go as close as 72 hours for a regular dose....if micro dosing you can go 24 hours.
BUT!!!>>>what's the point of dosing so close to race day anyway? There is no point in doing this because an elevated crit stays elevated for WEEKS!
Red cells have a 120 day life span. So stopping a week out may lower your crit from 56 to 54% tops.
Anyone who believes that distance runners are not doping is a stupid, naive fool.
if i knew for a fact that EPO would not kill me then I would take it. I have worked my ass off to be an average college runner and have no talent. With EPO I think I could be one of the top and could then compete with those that have talent. That being said I dont want to die.I dont like that I would take it, but honestly I think I would.

You'd have to have the money to buy it first.
You think all those Kenyan high schoolers running sick times are doping? I think SOME of the top guys are doping but most of the others just have such a different culutre and advantages that they can run way faster than we think is possible. On our front, Alan Webb ran 3:53 in high school, was he doping?

And you have to be enough of a self centered dick to live with yourself knowing that you've screwed over a bunch of guys who work just as hard as you.
whats the avg cost for EPO. lets say an adequate amount of dosages for one indoor and outdoor season. also how easy is it to get ahold of.

He's run 3:32 for a 1500 and 7:25 for a 3k. He doesn't have great middle-distance speed, but has phenomenal endurance. What else do you expect from the world record-holder at 5k?

what is your point? they would be running even sicker times on EPO. and they will, if they start competing with the top guys.
So Lance was clean because he was able to maintain such a high level of performance for so long of a span of time?
