My left and right ears have been alternating plugged/hurting. Right now, my currently hurting left ear is crackling/unplugging... and clear fluid is slowly pouring out. Can someone explain?

Can you explain not going to a doctor?
I have an appointment.
I once had fluid running out of my ear (except mine was a faint brown). The doc told me my ear drum had "kind of exploded," whatever the hell that means. But then it reformed and all was fine. I was having an awful sinus infection/cold at the time, and he said it was probably do to the pressure build up.
put a clove of garlic in there, it really helps

a crayon could help.
My dad gargles with garlic juice if he has a really bad sore throat and says it really does help, so it's worth a shot.
You probably have some type of infection and some of the zit juice is just pouring out. A doctor's visit is definitely worth the trip.

This is one thing I LOVE about Thailand. If I had crap pouring out of my ear, I'd just walk the 600 meters to Bumrungrad Hospital, walk in, get treated (in the emergency room if it were night) by a cute Thai/Chinese female doctor, and be well within a day or two, all for about US$60 or so....and this is by far the most expensive hospital in Thailand.
That... sounds a lot like a nasty ear infection. Um... Do you have a fever, headache, earache, anything like that?
I had that, but it turned out to be earwax plugging the ear canal, and water from the shower was trapped behind it. Do you have a fever, or pain when you press on your sinus areas on your face? The doc is a good idea, but you might just have an obstruction.
Yes, I am coming off of an extended semi-flu. It wasn't bad, but lasted long and had my head feeling congested. The fluid's still slowly pouring out, except it's bloodied (starting being bloodied after an hour). It's very slow/constant... but when I hear a crackling (similar to an ear unplugging during a yawn), then it'll briefly stream a bit. The pain got unbearable... so I used some vicadin from a previous prescription. I didn't expect the pain to get worse with the fluid coming out... but thought it'd relieve the pressure.
This sounds bad, but I don't want to see a hospital urgent care, but instead want to wait for my dr.'s appointment in another few days. My last urgent care was brief and simple, but cost about $500. What's funny is, the fluid coming out is pretty satisfying.... Anyone who's experienced pressure pain knows what I mean. Even though it's not relieving the pain, psychologically it's like the pain's seeping out.
Holy shit...there is blood flowing out of your ear, and you aren't going to urgent care or the ER? You, sir, are a moron. That, or a moronic troll. I can't believe anyone would be that stupid.

I can't argue that. But right now $500 is like $500,000. It's not exactly laying around to be spent. I know I can bill it, but it won't be later on either.
Just because someone has a trickle of blood doesn't mean they're dying. You must panic once a month with your GF or Wife.
A bad ear infection tends to bleed a bit. Once all the crap comes out, it will subside. Most people go on antibiotics but it will clear up on its own with sensible treatment. A Doctor will generally use absorbent material to get rid of much of the discharge and prescribe drops. A mild acetic acid(vinegar) solution is commonly used. If you are a bit into self treatment you can put a few drops of a vinegar/ distilled water solution in yourself. Basically the ear canal remains healthy when it has a slightly acidic environment which limits bacterial growth. When chlorinated water gets stuck in there it tends to cause a huge overgrowth of the wrong kind of bacteria. Usually Staph.
You can use a syringe and warm water to blast the ear out a bit and dislodge any wax that is inhibiting drainage.
Oh my gosh, getting my ears cleaned 2 years ago was the best thing I ever did! I have no idea how long they had been somewhat plugged (maybe 8-9 years.... all through high school and college!). You will be so thankful to get them checked and taken care of!
If you wake up DEAD then $500 will have seemed quite worth it.

Actually I got them cleaned a few years ago.... The nurse basically took a LONG wire-like spatula, stuck WAY down the ear, canal, etc... and scooped out the very inner wax buildup. Very satisfying. For what it matters, she was hot too. The ear giving me issues is actually the same ear that they said had the much worse buildup.

I know what you're saying. But paying $500 is basically the same as calling my bill-collectors to tell them that I'll be late-paying for the next several months. It's also saying that if my car breaks down, then I may not be able to make the repairs. Jobs just don't pay enough.
It could be genetic and you just need to get them cleaned every so often.
