AWSOME JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AWSOME JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Way to go Kara, 32:02, and a great kick to repass Pavey. Awesome job, and a tip of the hat to Salazar's coaching, too.
She ran a terrific race. Put herself in the right position, and kept herself in the right position for this slow race. Brilliant job!
Knocks off Drossin. When was the last time Drossin got spanked by an American in an international 10k? Changing of the guard.
I was feeling just like I had put in an all night cramming session, really just hanging in there as I have not missed a moment of WCSN. Then the ladies in the 10K were up. Was prepared to see the Red, White and Blue once again be also rans. My God, am I now pumped. Wide awake and can not wait for the next session. I will need to apoligize to my wife for not paying any attention to her but that will be in a week.

Yeah, I agree with Salazar thing. He definitely gives them that little bit 'extra'.

It was great to see 4 white women coming in behind the 2 Africans. It feels like there has been a shift in dominance

DUDE.. its a freaking bronze medal... do you remember the bronze medalists from 95 or 99.. NOPE!

Good point though.

It was great to see two black women coming in ahead of four white women. It feels like the Africans will always win 10,000 metre races.

Thank you Doc Stray-Gundersen for your help! Kara's performance bodes well for Adam and Rupp.
Awesome job to Kara. I couldn't be happier for her, she has proven that hard work and dedication can make it happen. Now she can enjoy the rest of the week (with her medal) and encourage her husband and team.

Looks like Al was correct back in 1999 and things are cleaner now.

Exactly, I'd think we'd all agree on this.
Bummer, I had high hopes for Tufa.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
