It seems to me, that the list consists of 3 things: 1) world record times and the 2006 rankings for percent of all runners finishing every half hour, 2) times (historical and otherwise) to qualify for Boston as well as times to get in corrals or automatically qualify for big marathons like Chicago and NY, and 3) marathon times celebrities have run.
Someone like the person you mention is not really famous in the west and if she was it would be as a runner. She seems to be a runner who sings, not a singer who runs. Further, while the list does have a few athletes on it, those athletes are generally famous for non-running sports.
I think, like a few others have posted, that it is an interesting list. I am not big into celebrities, but it is interesting to compare oneself to others and see how good my time compares to celebrities or famous people who have run a marathon and what their times were. Almost everyone I know who runs a marthon looks up Oprah’s time to see if he/she beat Oprah in the marathon. I think that is a good thing. It is nice to have someone to compete against. The idea of trying to beat Justice Thomas or P Diddy/ Puff Daddy gives a person something to strive for. So I think the list is pretty cool.
I did a little searching on the Internet and this list seems to be about the most comprehensive I have found.
What about:
Alan Turing, AAA Marathon Championships 1947 (2:46:03)
Here's the juggling WR. It's legit - asswipe passed me on the hills. Pizzed me off so much I actually thought about knocking one of those balls into the crowd, but I'm a dick like that.

The thing is with lists like this, to be interesting they need to be people whose name you recognize.
Chick: my marathon time is 2 minutes faster than Mario Lopez!
Dude: cool. want to sleep with me?
That conversation like this with Alan Turing
Chick: my marathon time is 2 minutes faster than Alan Turring!
Dude: cool. (thinking who the f is that?) want to sleep with me?
Also, as far a celebrity marathon times to beat, how about Paul Ryan's fake marathon time? 2:50 something? Might make something that is not political political though.
Here are a couple recent ones:
Mark Messier, 2011 New York City Marathon (4:14:27)
Christy Turlington Burns, 2011 New York City Marathon (4:20:47)
Alanis Morissette, 2009 New York City Marathon (4:28:45)
Just bumping this because I would be interested in an updated list. Not sure why, but I love finding out where I stand on things like this.

In order to help people find this thread in the future I am adding a post with the words people would likely use to search for it:
"celebrity marathoners, marathon times, famous people who have run a marathon., Oprah, puff daddy, diddy, Sean combs, list"
Then you should have said celebrity marathon times or list of people who have run a marathon or fast celebrities or celebrities who have run a marathon.
You is welcome!
London has NO celebrity marathon runners.
Here is a list from 2011, none are real celebrities.
its weird seeing a thread you started about 5 years ago pop back up.
i do have an updated list that i can post. i updated the 2006 numbers as far as percentages for where people finish, added some updates on boston qualifying stuff, added a couple people.

He finished at 3:57:xx
The last finisher listed on the website is Stacy Shaw with a time of 4:44. There are big gaps though and I would have expected non-stop finishers at that point. I wonder if a few runners just kept going or what was happening there.

Here is an article about the last finisher before the bomb. I say put that time on the list.

If the "last finisher" is by chip time then it would be someone from the first wave (roughly a 3:2x qualifying time) who crashed badly and there were probably "big gaps" between first wave runners by that point. There would have been a relatively steady stream of third wave 4:0x-4:1x runners finishing about the time the bombs went off.

Here is a link to the results for about that time:

I think this is gun time. In any event, the articles I have read says she was the last person to physically cross the finish line and get an "official time."
