Well maybe it has something to do with Nike trying to go after their athletes before they have a hair on their face to shave. Wallace Spearman,Tyson Gay, and who knows about the others. Maybe the Head Coach has stood up to the boys at Nike and told them take the swoosh and shove it where the sun dont shine. Good for Arkansas. Well Maybe not. Just means that Rupp will get more (pro) support then before! Maybe Nike should have considered the negatives of their new tactics. The sad thing about this is that Arkansas might have been as important to Nike in terms of marketing as any of their current athletes. Congrats to adidas for having the most popular track program in the country.

It will be tough at NCs to determine the hogs from the badgers.

Tribble- No one cares about the Arkansas women. They are a second tier program and always have been.

Nike screwed themselves by trying to sign Arkansas athletes early.

Anyone know what spikes/racing flats most of the Arkansas guys are wearing.....the red ones you can see in the pics of the Iona meet?

Indiana is also with Adidas (this happened last year), so that adds another red/white adidas team to the mix.

adidas wants KU for basketball, not track or cross country.

Adidas just bought Reebok so maybe that has something to do with some of the schools switching

Forrest was an Adidas-sponsored athlete while in Australia., but did he take money, shoes etc.? lots of my mates in Aussieland say he did. Someone should really check that out.

Get real, the guy is 20 or 21 running 29 min for 10k and 13:55 for 5k. What does that put him? Maybe 300th in the world?
