The NCAA compliance office has already green-lit Ingebrigtsen's eligibility and have classified the 25-year-old as a red-shirt senior eligibility wise. "I'm so excited to be a Duck. Jakob Ingebrigtsen undergoes Achilles surgery in California

After a recent setback with his left Achilles which has been bothering him since last April, Ingebritsen fwent under the knife. Ingebrigtsen's surgery was on the sheath around his left Achilles tendon, not the tendon itself.
