From Mo Farah's first race under new coach Gary Lough in Doha to the Great Edinburgh XCountry to Clayton Murphy's NOP debut to Molly Huddle vs. Jordan Hasay and the American record (and a loaded men's field) at the Houston Half Marathon, we preview it all. The fields are strong once again for Sunday's late-night meet. Maggie Vessey (800), Cory McGee (1,500), Shelby Houlihan (1,500), Evan Jager (1,500) Henrik Ingebrigtsen (1,500), Sally Kipyego (5k), Nicole Tully (5k), Garrett Heath (5k), Chris Derrick (5k), Buze Diriba (10k), Molly Seidel (10k) and Sam Chelanga (10k) are among the entrants with the 10k track debut of Bernard Lagat.

In the women's race, Turkey's Euro XC champ Yasemin Can dominated, while Laura Muir anchored Great Britain to victory in the mixed-gender relay thanks to a brilliant anchor leg.

Mo Farah's 2017 campaign begins on Saturday morning in Scotland where he'll try to prevent Garret Heath from pulling a stunner in Edinburgh for the fourth year in a row. Euro XC champ Aras Kaya of Turkey, plus Club XC champ Sam Chelanga and U.S. Olympians Leonard Korir and Hillary Bor also feature in the men's 8k. In the women's race, Euro XC champ Yasemin Can of Turkey faces U.S. Olympian Marielle Hall and Sarah Pagano. Laura Muir, Kyle Merber and Will Leer are among the legs in the mixed-gender 4x1k relay. Both Blankenship (3:55) and Kampf (4:34) won by comfortable margins as Garrett Heath (3:59) and Christy Cazzola (4:37) took the runner-up spots. *Results

A great race with Centro still the king.

This is most definitely the race of the meet. Can Rupp accomplish the unthinkable and make the 3k team less than a month after winning the Olympic Marathon Trials? He'll have to beat a tremendous field that also includes Garrett Heath and 41-year-old defending World Indoor silver medalist Bernard Lagat.

Centro, who ran a 3:50.63 mile at Millrose, has been on fire this year and is a near-lock for the team. Three other men have the IAAF standard: Robby Andrews, Cory Leslie and Ben Blankenship.

Both races are stacked as the men's field also has Leo Manzano, Garrett Heath and Robby Andrews. For the women, Shannon Rowbury will defend her title against Treniere Moser, Alexa Efraimson, Katie Mackey and many more.

The first big US pro meet of the year takes place in Winston-Salem on Saturday afternoon and we'll be there to cover it for you. Centro and Rowbury will both be in the mile while Eaton and wife Brianne Theisen-Eaton tackle the 60m hurdles. Cas Loxsom (800), Brandon Johnson (800), Melissa Bishop (800), Stephanie Garcia (mile), Garrett Heath (3k), Lawi Lalang (3k) and Foot Locker champs Drew Hunter (3k) & Weini Kelati (3k) are also entered.

In the past in Edinburgh, he's taken down the likes of Asbel Kiprop and Kenenisa Bekele. Now he's beaten Mo Farah.

Mo Farah's 2016 campaign and his quest for an Olympic repeat begins on Saturday morning in Scotland. He'll be challenged by 12:57 man Alemayehu Bezabeh as well as two-time Edinburgh winner Garrett Heath. The women's race includes Kate Avery, Emma Bates and Americans Amy Van Alstine and Rochelle Kanuho. Plus there is a relay race with loads of names - like Bush, Twell, Muir, Leslie, Masters, Jan Hannes and Grice. You can stream the race live on USATF.tv here, starting at 8 a.m.
