Just saw a tweet from the Twin Cities that they are hosting the USATF Road Mile Championships this Thursday night. Is it worth going to watch? I can't find a list of the entries anywhere. Got to love USATF events, 2 days out and no field is set? And they want fans to come. Nick Symmonds is right. Things need to change.
I saw some no parking signs for 5/12 about that race over the weekend. Guessing it is a scenic course along the mighty Mississippi in lovely Minneapolis.

Well I guess I should've checked the USATF webpage. I meant no offense to anyone in the TC group. They have done amazing job with the Marathon and 10 mile races. Can't a guy just slam USATF for lack of publicity and coverage of a pretty high profile national championship race?
yes, plenty of information and great publicity. All you had to do was happen to drive by the part of town in a city most of the country doesn't live in and see the no parking signs and then google it
Good fields; just wish David Torrence would be in something like this. Even though Blankenship seems like the best track miler in this field, I wouldn't bet against Heath on the roads or when the course is at all technical.

No, but you may need to pay to park within the vicinity of the race.
