My dad has a civil war foot officer's sword
My father, passed a few years ago, had an 1886 New York League Lorillard baseball card. I have it now, pretty cool.
Signed book given to my great aunt by General Patton, who lived next door to her.
Piece of the Berlin Wall
Nazi flag that my great grandfather stole from a town-square some-time after D-day. Obviously not on display (because my family is firmly anti-nazi); It's folded in a box in the attic.
A stone ax head of early Native American origin. Turned up in a pile of excavated soil..
Houston Astrodome ticket from a game that was rained out.
My great-grandfather was a famous illusionist, sword-swallower, and trick-shot artist who became best-known by the name Kar-Mi, Prince of India. (He wasn't Indian; he just dyed his skin and wore a robe and turban). His wife, my great-grandmother, was a famous sword-swallower who held a world record for the number of swords swallowed simultaneously. Their promotional posters, which were designed and printed by my great-grandfather himself, are now collector's items, prized for their imaginative and vivid artwork. Here are copies of a couple of very large original posters that now hang on my dining room walls:

1964 Austin Healy Sprite purchased new by a young man that became a US citizen after defecting from Czechoslovakia. He was an engineer/ aviator and paid the ultimate sacrifice during his 2nd tour of Viet Nam after not surviving an ejection from a OV-10 Bronco.
Ticket stub from the last ride of the 3 Car.
While living in Greece, I explored an excavation for a new building and dug out several pottery shards that were still embedded in the dirt sidewall of the excavation. Based on pottery with similar markings, they are about 2,500 years old. I have them mounted in a shadow box.
Many millions from Fred Trump.
Photo of me and Teddy Roosevelt watchin TV in the White House.
A Pet Rock, a DVD of The Perfect Storm ( thanks to Sebastian Junger) , and some old coins pulled out of the Mediterranean Sea.
A state championship medal from the 1990s
A blue dress
Dad brought back his canteen from WW2. Canteen was “modified” by a Japanese bullet on Okinawa. I have his medals and uniform too.
My father was in the printing industry and had Newsweek as a client. They had to be prepared for assorted outcomes on Election Night. I have a cover heralding McGovern's upset win over Nixon.
A German infantry rifle and a Luger which my great uncle “liberated” from a German soldier in WWII. I also have his service medals and dog tags, including his Purple Heart. Also, a box of over 100 letters written between him and my great aunt during the war.
Coincidentally, I brought both guns to a firing range a few years ago. I met there an expert on antique weaponry, who had ammo for both guns and showed me how to clean them, and how they work. Both weapons fired perfectly, after all those years.

My dad also got one of those from a city hall in a Belgian town his unit liberated. He also got a Wehrmacht helmet. Ours is in a chest in the cellar.
