Posting out of context numbers like this make you look really dumb.
please provide the context that shows that US is doing better than Canada.

Needing context to understand the meaning of these stats makes you look really dumb.
Hint: add a zero
Hint - get back on your meds.
Give capitalism time. Ventilators have gone up 80% in just a couple weeks, from 25K to 45K!
And they haven’t even started charging fair market price for the air yet.
As I told you, please get back on your meds.
It's not capitalism that is the problem it is the wasteful, incompetent and abusive government.

then why is health care more expensive in the US than in countries where it is run almost entirely by wasteful, incompetent, abusive government. Canada for example.
In a democracy it’s harder to control a pandemic. You want absolute control? Look at North Korea. Assuming they are telling the truth...they’re possibly just executing anyone who has the virus and sets foot in public.
China tried to cover up the virus for a month before they realized they couldn’t and then moved fast to enforce a lockdown with police and armed guards and people literally locked inside apartments. This measure appears to have helped but I still think their numbers are not truthful.
In America there is freedom—and freedom is exactly what this virus needs to survive

Exactly, that describes Trump perfectly.
I thought I told you to get back on your meds. Swedish, Canadian, American .... multiple personalities need meds. I recommend Rojo do the same.
There's a fair amount of 20/20 hindsight and Mon AM QBing going on in this article, but it is basically correct. The US did not have the wherewithal to do the kind of testing and quarantine that China and So Korea did. The reasons for this failure are largely unexplored.

And the Mayor of New York, the Governor of New York, the Mayor of New Orleans and the Governor of Louisiana, and the Mayor and Governor of NJ did nothing to prepare for this after SARS and MERS? What do these politicians do then?
Being very stupid and unable to think logically , you simply regurgitate whatever lie Fox News puts out . Mayors and governors have no ability to limit who comes in their municipalities or the country . If only the USA had some leader of the federal government who could close national borders , order nation-wide testing and maybe not ignore reports a pandemic was imminent and not disband the Pandemic Response Team ! Just think what we could have done if the feds had someone with that kind of power !
So you want Trump to close national borders? He did with the travel ban from China in January.
Why is health care more expensive in the US then the other countries? Have you actually been to those other countries? Go spend some time in Sweden. If you live there you had better have the money to go to a private hospital.
Uh no . He said he did but it was the same as his closing the border with the EU. There were thousands of people flying from China under the exceptions and tens of thousands more who were in China and flew from another country .
Been to most of Europe, North America, South America, Russia, China, Southeast Asia. Haven't been to Australia, Antartic and most of Africa. Where have you been?
If oil prices remain low, Norway may not be able to fund their country,
I remember when Norwegians and Swedes hated each other in Wisconsin. Funny because everyone else thought they were the same.
I wonder if Europe will get along with each other in the future when they are just miles away, but culturally light years away.

Yes. It is certainly a case of "Mon AM QBing", but, really, that's pretty unavoidable in reviewing a leadership failure like this, isn't it?
