You can go without track for a season. Too many lives are at stake. When the number of dead is sky rocketting, there will be no business as usual.
I guess we should have called off the Civil War as soon as too many people started to die. Anything worth fighting for is going to have some loss of life. The fight here is for our freedom of movement and ability decide our own fate. We've effectively become prisoners.
What are you, so immature that you can't go hang out places for a few weeks so millions don't die? The last I checked the only places you even aren't allowed out to run are Spain and the Lombardy region of Italy because people like you thought they were above everyone else and congregated. You can do literally anything you want at home and even go most places outside, you just have to do it alone so you don't put others' lives at risk. Should you kill your parents as an asymptomatic carrier so you can go have fun? How about your coach, should he die so you can have practice? What about your girlfriend, should she die because you had to go on a hike with a bunch of friends, one who is an asymptomatic carrier?
Oh, the mortality rate is "only" a couple percent, so you're fine with just giving 3 people on your team permanent lung damage. Worth it so you don't have to be a little bored for a few weeks.
