Thank you! I'm a bigger runner 6'175, size 12+ so having that default shoe is a good medium and has done well to keep the mileage and most important recovery.
I have the Forever2s in a word versatile but leaning toward sessions of Hills, intervals, tempos. It's got a decent ground feel which leaves you with strong feet/muscles, unlike training too much in plated racers.
The Pegasus once past 20miles I feel is a little more resilient than forevers. I may take advantage of Reebok promotion and try Harmony if anything to pair with Glycerin's.
For pure race I think Hyperion Tempo may be a sleeper...when the shops open I'm giving it a run.
You may like the Harmonys then. They will be pretty stable at the heel and well cushioned overall. The fit will be pretty roomy too. They are also pretty light for the amount of cushion.
I'm much smaller at 5 foot 7 and like 123 pounds. I tend to prefer a light trainer and speed shoes.
Saucony Freedom 3, Skechers Gorun 7+, and Reebok Floatride Panthea are awesome light everyday trainers.
Skechers Razor 3, Reebok Floatride Run Fast, and Brooks Hyperion Tempo are great fast day trainers.
On the Hyperion Tempo, it is quite nice. It works well for longer cutdowns and tempos, but has a lot of get up and go. If you didn't want a plated speed shoe for longer workouts, this would be a good shoe to get. And I think it is smart to have one without a plate if you get some achilles stress from plated shoes. I have taken the Hyperion Tempo for 8-10 mile cutdowns from 7:00-5:30/mi pace and enjoyed it. I also liked it a lot for mile repeats in the 5:19-5:14/mi range. It even works for pretty comfortable daily miles for me. I'd compare it to the Pegasus Turbo. It doesn't bottom out in the forefoot super quick though and it is firmer and more stable. Still has some softness though.
